This summer Pierra Mutavo and VC Lehmann, two of our dedicated lab members, had the opportunity to intern in research laboratories, diving deep into the world of molecular biology. This experience has allowed Pierra to immerse herself in research focused on epigenetic gene repression at Michigan State University. This experience has allowed VC to immerse herself in research focused on molecular techniques to clone plant genes at Sewanee.
Working alongside seasoned researchers, our students explored the depth and complexity of research while they honed their molecular biology skills.
We are proud to see our student expanding their horizons and contributing to important research in the field of molecular biology. Their work over the summer enhances their skills and also brings fresh knowledge back to our lab.
